Laugharne Pre-school opened in September 2016. Historically there has always been a playgroup in Laugharne but over recent years it has been hard to find suitable premises. Due to demand in Laugharne and the surrounding area to provide a provision a new committee was formed and Laugharne Pre-school was able to reopen in a class room in Laugharne V.C.P. School. The class room was a foundation phase room and benefits from its own small kitchen area and children's toilet facilities. There is direct access to an outdoor play area shared with the reception class and segregated with a removable fence when required.

We enjoy a professional relationship with the school's head teacher and reception class teacher which helps the children's transition into school.
